The sprites were ripped straight from the old games frame-by-frame, and their animations and timings have been reconstructed and updated to fit into this new game. These characters are all painstakingly hand-drawn, and each has a completely different playing style.įans of the previous editions will also be pleased to know that a roster of twelve retro characters will also be available for use in the game – and these aren’t simple ports either!Īlthough each character still has their own pixelated form from the 90s, this still looks great when you see it in-game. There will be two new characters for players to use in this title, as well as the returning characters Blaze Fielding, Axel Stone, and Adam Hunter. This takes a break from the usual wave-fighting action and is great for some extra training or a high-stakes competition.
